Steve and Debra both grew up in denominational churches. Their families were strong Christian leaders in their communities and loved Jesus with their whole hearts. They met by divine appointment and prayer was/is the foundation of their relationship. As spirit filled believers, they sought after God and listened to anointed teachers and pastors. In the early 1990's they read about John G. Lake and his healing ministry. They were excited to discover a new avenue of prayer for the sick that yielded results. They sought out a newly opened healing rooms in Minnesota for prayer and support, due to a series of unfortunate events.

Steve and Debra  joined Healing Center International in 2003 as prayer ministry volunteers. The desire to help others recover from illness was born out of personally discovering  God's healing in their own lives. Along with many others, they received training under Pastor Elaine Bonn's healing ministry, Healing Center International (HCI) in Brooklyn Center, MN. 

The Fergusons volunteered for over 12 years ministering healing prayer and served as producers for Pastor Bonn's weekly cable TV program. Pastor Bonn relocated and HCI was closed in 2015.  During prayer, Steve heard the Lord say "Continue the work."  And so plans were made to open a prayer and healing ministry.

In 2019, they attended a Be in Health "For My Life" retreat in Thomaston Georgia. They had the opportunity to meet Dr. Henry Wright in person along with many of the wonderful Be in Health staff. Their experience at this retreat was life changing and energized them in their ministry.

 
Having experienced healing in their own lives, their heart's desire is to see others experience healing and wholeness through relationship with Jesus Christ and rightly understanding His word.

Steve and Debra have been married for 36 years, have 4 adult children, 3 wonderful sons in-law and 1 wonderful daughter in-law, and 9 adorable grandchildren.
