Changing Kingdoms

What Kingdom are you in?

Exodus 19:3-6  And Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain, saying, “Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel: 4 ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. 5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. 6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”

There were and are many kingdoms of the earth, and many even today.

Deuteronomy 3:21“And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, ‘Your eyes have seen all that the Lord your God has done to these two kings; so will the Lord do to all the kingdoms through which you pass.

Matthew 4:8-9    Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

Matthew 3:1-2  In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” -some translations say - will soon be here.  has come near, YLT- `Reform ye, for come nigh hath the reign of the heavens!

Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

Jesus was in their vicinity!

Who owns this Kingdom?

Matthew 6:13 Jesus prayed to the Father - Our Father - For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

How long was God's Kingdom in existence? Long time. When will it end? Never.

Who may enter this Kingdom?

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

What is the will of the Father? His Word!

Matthew 16:19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Okay What is a Kingdom?

Websters1828:  The territory or country subject to a king.  In Scripture, the government or universal dominion of God. 1 Chronicles 29:11. Psalms 145:11 Government; rule; supreme administration

Kingdoms of the earth had the ability to create and enforce laws. Today we call them by their respective countries name, i.e. ,England, Afghanistan, Turkey etc

So if God's Kingdom is the original what are the laws? Or what is God's will?

Laws govern things such as wind, gravity or electricity or water through your house plumbing.

Spiritual Laws are operational boundaries for things like being born again, receiving by faith, forgiveness of sin, being healed supernaturally, etc

example:  Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

The bible speaks of another kingdom, in Mathew 4:8  actually Jesus did also in Luke 11:18 saying If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand?  I have a hard time connecting satan with the term king, except that it has subjects it rules over!

Does satan's kingdom have laws? You know it does! Only the laws are enforced by the devils until a greater law of God's Kingdom overrides it.

Luke 10:17-20 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”(Luke 10:17) and He said to them, “I saw satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

Authority from God's Kingdom rules over satan's (kingdom)!

Which Kingdom's Principles are you employing?

So, now that you are a born again Spirit-filled Christ follower, which Kingdom are you operating in?

Okay, before we get too thought-bound over this, tell me what you do when you are wronged by someone? Do you get angry and want to retaliate? Or are you quick to forgive taking no more thought of what you experienced?

One is of satan's kingdom and the other is of God's. God's boundary of forgiveness wasn't used and then you defaulted to the other option.

How about when you feel sick, do you reach for the phone and call the doctor, pharmacy or the chiropractor, versus calling on the Father's provision of " I have given you power over the devil," and start speaking to the symptoms and diagnosis?

Not saying that doctors are from satan's kingdom but they could be. At the least they are of the world's system if they don't profess Jesus as Lord.

What if you have a need, say your car need's brakes and your bank account is empty? There were times when I've pulled out the credit card, called the credit card company and asked for an increase in the my credit limit! There were times when there was no food and no money let alone gas for the truck that needed brakes. Oh the world has answers for you but not for your benefit. Credit Card companies increasing your credit limit is not a blessing from the Lord. At least from the Lord Jesus. Anything satan came up with will always just prolong your agony! With God there are benefits, (Psalm 103) not so with the enemy. I'M NOT TALKING HERE ABOUT LEGITIMATE BUSINESS PRACTICES, BUT EVERYDAY TRYING TO SURVIVE MEASURES WE TAKE. SURVIVAL IS GOOD BUT THE BLESSING IS BEST

Counterfeits, from satan, it is the alternative to God's promises and blessing. So we get to choose.

Faith in God is the Kingdom of Gods' answer to life's problems. You may avoid it at first till you find out what is going on, but jump onboard and get with the answer to your ordeal.

What happens when the light of faith goes on and we choose God's way of escape? Didn't think you would ask. Ok I will tell you. YOU CHANGE KINGDOMS! "What does that mean?", you might ask. Well, if you fly into France you changed kingdoms. Now you are still a US citizen, but you have to operate under a different set of laws. Some you may not like. If you flew to Saudi Arabia you definitely wouldn't like the laws! But for our purposes if we operate in God's Kingdom principles and obey His Laws, we are under His jurisdiction or rule! The enemy can throw a tantrum but it doesn't matter when the Righteous Judge rules in your favor. When does He rule in your favor?  When you exercise your authority that He(God) gave you according to faith in His promises. Then Faith arises in your heart because you know it is His Kingdom Laws which work every time on your behalf and produces what the Word said it would!

You thought I was getting away from the Word teachings, but not a chance! His Words are His decree for us in the Kingdom.

Have we not remembered that Faith is the substance of the Kingdom that brings your body into perfect health. Faith moves mountains of impossibility that the World won't move. Faith needs to be moving in our hearts and bodies. Many health problems are spiritual on the negative side and only remedied by feeding on God's Word. Obeying the laws of the Kingdom allows God to bring about your answer the way that is best for you.

Oh but brother I have serious financial problems! I'm in debt, I have no rent money, my payments are late, I can't seem to get ahead, I've always been poor, can't make ends meet… Didn't you know that the same God who brought you into His Kingdom, got you born again, forgave and washed away all your sins, put His own Spirit in you, blessed you with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly places, and healed your body is the same God and Father who causes the works of your hands to prosper? He wants to fill your treasury, make you financially whole? Yes I'm saying God is into your life prospering and being in health. 3John 2. You just need a Divine paradigm shift! If God wanted you to be a pauper would He have let Jesus feed the hungry?

Change Kingdoms when it comes to your finances

Before you get too riled up, I'd like to tell you a story. I recently was searching for a newer work van on the internet.  Brother Andrew was helping me. Auto auctions carry salvage title vehicles and being familiar with wrecked vehicles, I searched far and wide. Had 2 vehicles taken by over- bidding fanatics . People paying too much for no reason. Obnoxious. I originally wanted a blue van with a turbo charger. But most that came on the auction were white and non turbo. We needed some help from God and so we made a monetary donation to a church group, prayed over it, released it into the Kingdom, then waited. About 3 weeks down the road a 2021 van came on the site I was watching and it had drivers side damage and for some reason no one was bidding on it. The damage was to the right side wheel and suspension, along with the fender and door. This particular model was a deep blue color and had only 15k miles on it.  The awesome thing was I paid the asking price of 13k and no other people bid. Did God open the door for this?  I think so. My wife and I went to the frame shop where the van was dropped off and the manager there told us the damage wasn't bad! Even though it looked bad. And repairs  should come in under budget.  Shocking thing is the van is the right color blue I wanted and has a turbocharger! I'm thanking God for this because my own abilities couldn’t have made this happen. Only God.

Proverbs 10:22 -  the blessing of the Lord brings wealth and He adds no sorrow or trouble with it. I have believed this scripture for years but had somewhat of a disconnect in how to operate in this.

Why do I bring up money, finances, prosperity, or wealth? What does it have to do with health or healing? Since so many sicknesses and health issues are stress related I think this is something we need to take a good look at. Scriptural fact number one is that God is interested in seeing you blessed! Somebody needs to bring this to our attention. We know God has been bringing it to our attention! Listen, there are some of God's folks who have sought the Kingdom and become wealthy and no, they are not politicians! God is interested in you! This pertains to a more healthy life! 3Jn2.
