(Clarifying Revelation) Many times when we pray for people, we find out that they are hoping or wishing that God would heal them. Somehow the message of grace was confused and they seem to be reaching out into the future or somewhere outside of themselves for the answer they need. Answers can be as complicated as peoples' lives in this age. By the time some find us , they are near hopeless because they have been directed onto a crooked path to the benefits of God and how to receive them. Did you ever read the Gospels and think to yourself, " It looks like things could have been easier in Jesus day when all we needed was to find Him." What if I told you to stop looking outside yourself and start looking inside to where the answer is? Chances are no one told you the truth. You are born again, "not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever" 1Peter1:23

What does this mean to be born again? Simply put it means that you're old nature of sin is removed and the new nature of God is transferred to you from God thru the Holy Spirit. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him (Nicodemus), “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again (from above), he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. John 1:33 says, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ So Jesus actually went away from the earth knowing that the benefits of baptizing us with the Holy Spirit far outweighed Him staying in bodily form. Now Jesus lives in all born again believers by the Holy Spirit. The Godhead lives inside of you! Father, Son and Holy Spirit! He took your sinful nature and replaced it with His nature.

Let's take a look at some of Holy Spirits' attributes and some of the ways He functions. This will give us a good picture of His nature.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

1Cor 6:17,19 says, 17 he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.19 your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Other scriptures talk about that He gives gifts to men, For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one and But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit (with your heavenly language!)

What are the benefits of the new birth?

Jesus said in John 16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you;" So Jesus actually went away from the earth knowing that the benefits of baptizing us with the Holy Spirit far outweighed Him staying in bodily form. With the Holy Spirit came "every spiritual blessing in heavenly places." Eph.1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

Even with this benefit of living with the Holy Spirit inside of us, we still have problems receiving what God has provided. I'm sure we just need more understanding. Well, here it is…

1. Most Christians are dominated by what they can see, taste, hear, smell, and feel instead of God’s Word.

A. The flow of life within stays turned off because they don’t believe anything they can’t see.

B. They don’t understand the change that happened in their born-again spirits or who they are in Christ.

C. To them, something’s just not “real” if it can’t be perceived though their five natural senses.

2. The Christian life isn’t a process of “getting from God”; it’s a process of renewing your mind and learning to release what you’ve already received.

A. It’s much easier to release something you’ve already got than to go get something you don’t yet have.

B. Doubt is eliminated once you believe you’ve already got it.

3. Your faith becomes effective, productive, and operative by acknowledging every good thing in you (your spirit) in Christ. “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” (Philemon 1: 6).

A. To communicate means to release or transfer.

B. “Effectual” means it begins to work or produce.

4. Under the New Covenant, we have all received (past tense) His fullness. “And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace” (John 1:16).

A. God gave you everything when you were born again.

B. Old Testament principles don’t necessarily apply to New Testament faith.

C. The rest of your Christian life is learning how to manifest in the physical realm what’s already in your born-again spirit

5. You need to believe and know why that you are already blessed (Eph. 1:3).

A.God has already given you healing, wisdom, revelation, prosperity, joy, peace everything you’ll ever need.

B. All you have to do is renew your mind and let these things manifest themselves through you. There was an actual transformation that took place in your spirit the very moment you were born again.

C. Now you have love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (Gal. 5:22-23).

D. You are—right now in your spirit—identical to Jesus (1 John 4:17 and 1 Cor. 6:17).

E. The same power that raised Christ from the dead now lives inside of you (Eph. 1:19-20).

6. It’s infinitely easier to release something you know and believe you already have than it is to try and go get something you don’t.

A. If you’re not absolutely convinced that you’ve already got it, you’ll either submit to or have to battle thoughts that you won’t get it.

B. However, once you know it’s yours, how could you doubt you’d get it?

C. This is simple, but so profound - Andrew Wommack

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Cor. 5:17-18)

Do we value the Ministry of the Holy Spirit over natural answers?

Will we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, in order to walk according to His ways? We have this treasure in earthen vessels, already. If you've received Christ into your life then it is there!

Faith has to have truth (knowledge) to hang onto to manifest something! Your faith in the Word of God has been activated by the Holy Spirit when you declare, "I believe" and "I receive." You have to speak what you believe so that your ears can hear and your mind can be renewed. If you are depending on intellect power only, you won't be able to combat the enemy of your soul and life!

Faith then is in believing that God has already done this for us and it is inside of us through Holy Spirit who is waiting on us to seek Him and begin to manifest in the natural what God has already given! Simple, let's do it!
